Gone are those days, when we were supposed to stand in the long queues in railway station for tickets. After the web version of IRCTC, they have released their mobile application which makes the booking ticket very easy.

Note : Before you proceed with mobile booking, make an List of Passengers in IRCTC Account, as the mobile version doesnt not have option to enter Passengers name Manually

Steps to Book your Tickets on Mobile :

1) Open www.irctc.co.in/mobile on your mobile and login with existing id and password

Updated : Download the Android application of IRCTC From here :

2) Click on Book Ticket and then Enter the details under Plan my travel

3) Select the required Train and Continue booking

4) Add the Passengers from the Existing List

5) Confirm the Details and use your Credit / Debit Cards and successfully book the ticket

In the application which we downloaded, there was option to set the frequency of our choice which alters the sound. The sound was slightly detectable to human ears also, but keeping the mobile slightly away, this app can be effective
